Study Song Generator

Facts stick better when you can sing them. Paste your notes into Custom mode and they are sung word for word — definitions, dates, formulas, article numbers, vocabulary lists — in any language. Longer notes are split into several songs for you. Or describe a topic in the box and let the generator write a catchy song about it. Each generation gives two full versions in about a minute, so you can keep the one that sticks. Replay it on the way to the exam.

Prompts you can use right now

Biology, in order

A catchy pop song that teaches the four stages of mitosis in order: prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase, with one simple line about what happens in each. Repeat the order in the chorus.

History dates

An upbeat folk-rock song about the key dates of the American Revolution, from the Boston Tea Party in 1773 to the Treaty of Paris in 1783. Say each year clearly. Easy singalong chorus.

Vocabulary

A bouncy song that teaches five Spanish words for the kitchen with their English meanings: la cuchara spoon, el tenedor fork, el cuchillo knife, el plato plate, la taza cup. Slow and clear.

Formulas

A short hip-hop track that drills three physics formulas: force equals mass times acceleration, speed equals distance over time, and work equals force times distance. Repeat each twice.

How to turn your notes into a song you'll remember

  • →Cut your notes down to the facts you need to recall. One idea per line works better than full paragraphs — the melody gives each line its own place.
  • →Put the thing you most need to remember in the chorus. The chorus repeats, so a list, an order or a definition placed there gets heard three or four times per song.
  • →Long material? Split it into one song per topic or chapter rather than one giant song. Shorter songs are easier to replay before an exam.
  • →Pick a style you already like listening to. You will replay the song far more often if it sounds like your own playlist.

How it works

  1. 1

    Paste or describe

Paste your notes into Custom mode to have them sung word for word, or describe the topic and let the generator write the lyrics.

  2. 2

    Choose a style

Pop, rap, folk, anything catchy. Slower styles help with long terms and numbers.

  3. 3

    Replay to learn

Each generation gives two versions. Keep the catchier one and listen to it while you revise.

Frequently asked questions

Will my notes be sung exactly as I wrote them?

Yes, in Custom mode. Paste your notes there and they are used as the lyrics word for word. If you write in the description box instead, the generator writes its own lyrics about the topic, so the wording changes.

How much text can I paste?

Up to 5,000 characters per song on every plan, free included — about a full page of notes. You can paste up to 20,000: longer notes are split at paragraph breaks into several songs in the same style, titled Part 1, Part 2 and so on.

Does it work in other languages?

Yes. You can paste notes in Spanish, French, Portuguese, German and many other languages, and they are sung in that language. Pick a style that suits the language for the clearest pronunciation.

Can I download the song to listen offline?

Yes. MP3 downloads come with a paid plan, or you can buy a single song once. Listening in the browser is free.

Can I paste text from a textbook?

Use your own notes and summaries. Copying long passages from a published textbook may infringe its copyright, and well-known song lyrics are rejected by the music model.
