Afrobeat Song Generator

Describe the song โ€” a love song for your babe, a hustle anthem, a wedding entry track โ€” and the generator builds the groove: log drums or a shaker-led Afrobeats bounce, guitar licks, a vocal that rides the rhythm. Paste your own lyrics if you already have them, in English, Pidgin or a mix. You get two takes per generation, both with vocals unless you switch them off.

Getting the groove right

  • โ†’Describe artists' sound, don't name them. Prompts that name real artists are turned away. Instead of a name, describe the sound: "smooth melodic male vocal, soft log drums".
  • โ†’Say which language. Write "in Pidgin", "English and Yoruba" or paste lyrics in the mix you want. Left unsaid, the vocal defaults to English.
  • โ†’Give the hook a name or a phrase. Afrobeats hooks live on repetition. A name or a short phrase to repeat ("Ada, my baby") gives the chorus something to hold on to.
  • โ†’Pick Amapiano or Afrobeats, not both. Asking for both in one prompt usually lands in a muddy middle. Choose one and add the other's colour as a detail.

Afrobeat Song Generator FAQ

Can it sing in Pidgin, Yoruba or Igbo?

Pidgin and English work well. Yoruba, Igbo and other languages can be written into the lyrics and are sung, but pronunciation and tones are less reliable โ€” listen to both takes and regenerate if a line comes out wrong.

Can I make a song for someone with their name in it?

Yes. Put the name in your description or in the lyrics. For a song built around one person โ€” birthday, wedding, anniversary โ€” the custom song pages walk you through the details to include.

Can I release it or use it in my videos?

Songs made on a paid plan can be used in releases, videos and streams. Free-plan songs are for personal use.

Can I get an instrumental to sing over?

Yes. Switch on No vocals and describe the beat. You get an Afrobeats or Amapiano instrumental you can record your own vocal on.

Is it free?

You need a free account โ€” generation is not open to signed-out visitors. A free account gets 20 credits on signup and 5 more for each daily check-in; one generation costs 5 credits and returns two takes. You can listen online for free. Downloading the MP3 and using songs commercially need a paid plan, and songs made on the free plan are shown on the public Explore page.
