Acceptable Use Policy

What This Covers

MusicGenerater is an AI music generator: you describe a song or write lyrics, and AI models produce the music and vocals. This policy applies to everything you submit (prompts, style descriptions, titles, lyrics, audio and voice recordings) and everything you generate, download, or publish with the service. It sits alongside our Terms of Service.

What You May Not Make

Music has always dealt with difficult subjects — murder ballads, breakup songs, protest songs and war requiems are all welcome here. You may not use the service to request, generate, upload, or distribute:

  • Sexually explicit material, including pornographic lyrics or artwork.
  • Anything sexualising a minor. This is an absolute limit, and we report it to the authorities.
  • A real person's voice, likeness or identity without their consent, including voice cloning, deepfakes, and tracks presented as the work of a real artist.
  • Copies of songs, lyrics or recordings you don't have the rights to, including uploading them to the cover, extend or singing-voice tools.
  • Harassment or bullying, including content targeting an identifiable private person.
  • Hate speech against people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
  • Content promoting violence, terrorism, self-harm or animal cruelty, or giving instructions for them.
  • Anything else unlawful where you are or where the content is shared.

Your Voice and Your Rights

  • Custom singing voices are for your own voice only. You record a singing sample live on the page, then sing or read back a line we show you; the two recordings are checked against each other before the voice is created, and we keep them as your consent record.
  • Covers and extensions require you to confirm you made the recording or have the rights to use it. Uploads that match existing copyrighted recordings are rejected by our model provider.
  • Label AI music as AI. Everything made here is AI-generated. If you publish it, don't present it as a human performance or as the work of a real artist.

How We Moderate

Every prompt, style description, title and set of lyrics is screened automatically before it is sent to any model. Requests that break this policy are refused and never generated. Severe breaches — anything involving minors, or an attempt to clone a real person's voice — suspend the account immediately. We keep a record of what was blocked and why.

On the free plan, songs are published to our public Explore page, where other people can hear them and report them.

Reporting

Anyone can report content made with MusicGenerater — you don't need an account. Use the report form, or email support@musicgenerater.com with a link to the song and what's wrong with it. Rights holders can use the same channels for copyright notices; please say which of your works is affected.

What happens next:

  • A person reviews every report. Every report is logged and alerts us immediately.
  • Reports about minors, sexual content, violence, or a cloned voice are handled within 24 hours; everything else within 72 hours.
  • If the content breaks this policy we remove it, and depending on how serious it is we warn, suspend, or permanently ban the account that made it.
  • Content involving the sexual abuse of children is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and the relevant authorities.
  • If you left an email address, we tell you what we did.

Enforcement

  • Refused request — the generation is blocked and no credits are charged.
  • Content removal — the song is taken down from Explore and your library.
  • Suspension — the account can no longer sign in or generate. Severe breaches are suspended without warning, and the email, device and network used may be blocked from signing up again.

Credits and subscription payments are not refunded when an account is suspended for breaking this policy.

Appeals

Automated filters make mistakes. If you think your request was refused or your account suspended in error, email support@musicgenerater.com from the address on the account and tell us roughly what you were trying to make. We reply within 3 business days, and we'd rather fix a wrong call than leave it standing.
