Frequently asked questions
How do credits work?
Every action has a price in credits, shown on its button before you click. Each generation costs 5 credits and gives you two songs to pick from. Writing lyrics is free. On Unlimited, generating songs doesn't use credits at all.
What's the difference between monthly and yearly?
Same features, different price and size. Pro monthly is $9.99/month for 500 credits (about 200 songs). Pro yearly is $95.88, paid once a year ($7.99/month), for 1,250 credits every month (about 500 songs, 6,000 a year). Unlimited is $99/month, or $708 a year ($59/month). On yearly plans the credits arrive every month, not all at once, and unused ones roll over.
What does Unlimited include?
Generating songs doesn't use credits, so you can make as many as you like, up to 3 at a time. You also get 1250 credits a month for the tools — stems, vocal remover, extend, cover and the rest — and unused ones roll over. Unlimited is for one person's own creative use: scripts or bots, sharing an account and reselling access aren't allowed (see our terms).
Can I buy credits without a subscription?
No — credit top-ups are an add-on for subscribers. Start a plan, and if you run low, add a top-up from the pricing page: 45,000 credits for $199.99 or 125,000 credits for $499.99. Top-up credits never expire and stay on your account even if you cancel; downloads, commercial use and the Pro tools follow your plan.
Can I download songs I made on the free plan?
Yes. While you're subscribed, you can download every song in your library as MP3, including the ones you made before you upgraded. MP3 downloads don't use credits. WAV export is a Pro feature and costs 1 credit per song.
How much does singing in my own voice cost?
Creating your voice costs 10 credits, once. After that, every song sung in your voice costs 5 credits — the same as any song — whether you write a new song in the generator or have an existing song sung by you. It's included with Pro and Unlimited (on Unlimited, songs in your voice don't use credits). If creating a voice fails, the credits go back automatically.
Do credits expire?
You get new plan credits every billing month, and unused ones roll over — with no cap — for as long as you stay subscribed. They're removed when your plan ends. The 20 free credits you get when you sign up expire 30 days after you get them. Daily check-in credits last until midnight UTC on the free plan; on a paid plan they are added to your free credits and last 30 days. Top-up credits never expire.
Which credits are used first?
The ones that expire first. Purchased credits are always used last, so you never lose credits you paid for. Tap your balance at the top of the page to see each kind and when it expires.
What if a generation fails?
If a song, a cover or a singing-voice job fails on our side, the credits go back to your balance automatically. Nothing to request.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, any time, from Settings → Manage subscription. Plans renew automatically until you cancel; after you cancel, your plan — its credits, downloads and Pro tools — keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, then you move to the free plan. Your saved-up plan credits are removed when the plan ends, and downloads stop with it, so download the songs you need before it ends. Songs you made while subscribed keep their commercial rights. Top-up credits stay on your account.
Can I get a refund?
If a plan isn't what you expected, email us within 3 days of your first payment for a full refund — as long as you've used no more than 25 credits (no more than 10 songs on Unlimited) and haven't downloaded any files (one refund per customer). Renewals aren't refunded — cancel before the next renewal instead. Top-ups can be refunded within 14 days if none of their credits have been used. The full terms are on our refund policy page.
Can I use the songs commercially?
Yes, for songs you make while you're on a paid plan. That includes monetized YouTube videos, podcasts, ads, games and releases, and it stays valid after your plan ends. Songs made on the free plan are for personal, non-commercial use, and upgrading later doesn't change that for songs you already made. The full rules are in our terms.
Are my songs private?
On the free plan, songs are published to the public Explore page, without your name or email. On paid plans your songs are private by default.
