Ask for "sparse" or "space for vocals" so the beat doesn't fight your verse. - β†’Pick a tempo you can flow on. 85–95 BPM suits most rappers; go slower for double-time flows. - β†’Ask for a hook section. "A switch-up for the hook" gives your chorus its own lift instead of one loop for the whole track. - β†’Add your own vocals later. Have a beat you like? Use add vocals to put an AI vocal on it, or record yourself over the download. ## AI hip-hop beat maker FAQ ### Does it make beats only, or full songs with vocals? Both. Switch on Instrumental for a beat you can rap over; leave it off and describe the topic to get a full track with an AI vocal. If rap vocals are the whole point, the AI rap generator page is tuned for that. ### How do I get a specific sub-genre like drill or boom bap? Name it with a tempo and a texture: '140 BPM dark drill, sliding 808s' or '90 BPM boom bap, dusty drum break, jazz sample'. The style tag is preset to hip-hop; the prompt decides the flavour. ### Can I set the BPM? Ask for one in the prompt and the model usually lands close, but it is not a hard setting. If tempo matters, name it and describe the feel: '140 BPM, fast hi-hat rolls, half-time drums'. ### Is the hip-hop generator free? A free account gets 20 credits on signup plus 5 more every day you check in, so that is about 10 songs in your first day and 2 a day after that, with no card. You do need an account β€” generation is not open to signed-out visitors. MP3 download comes with any paid plan. ### Can I use the beats commercially? On paid plans, yes β€” tracks made while subscribed can be used in releases, videos or streams. Free-plan tracks are for personal use (see our terms). ### What format do I get? MP3 by default, which drops straight into any DAW, editor or phone. Lossless WAV export is part of the Pro plan. ### Ready To Drop Your Next Verse?
