Pick one you know by heart — Happy Birthday, Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, Row, Row, Row Your Boat or Amazing Grace — or any song you like. Sing it two or three times to fill 15–60 seconds. Don't play the song or a backing track while you record — the mic picks it up and your voice comes out muddy. Sing it, don't speak it: the voice learns how you sound when you sing. Between 15 seconds and 1:00. Sing close to the mic in your normal singing voice. This is my own voice, recorded just now, and I agree to it being used to create an AI voice for my account. ## How to make an AI singing voice of your own Your singing sample teaches the AI the tone of your voice. Songs you upload are then re-sung in that voice, keeping the melody, in the style you describe. - 1 ### Sing for half a minute Record yourself singing a cappella in a quiet room — Happy Birthday or any song you know by heart. No music playing. - 2 ### Sing back one line We show you a short line to sing or read. It proves the voice is yours; your AI voice is ready a few minutes later. - 3 ### Pick a song Upload any song you have the rights to and describe the style. It's re-sung in your voice and lands in My Music. ## Make a song with your own voice Create your voice once, then use it as often as you like. Three ways to make an AI song with your voice: ### Write a new song in your voice Open the song generator, switch to Custom, paste your lyrics and pick your voice under Voice. Your words, a new melody, your voice. ### Re-sing a song you made Under any song in My Music, tap My voice. It is re-sung in your voice with the melody kept — no download or upload needed. ### Keep a singer you like Not your voice, but one you love from your own songs: tap Use this singer under the song and your next songs sound like the same singer. ## How voice cloning for singing works here - →What you record. 15 seconds to a minute of you singing a cappella, live in the browser — no backing track, close to the mic. - →Why you sing back a line. We show you a short line to sing or read. The two recordings are matched against each other, which is how we make sure you are cloning your own singing voice and not someone else's. - →What the AI learns. The tone and character of your voice — not your lyrics or your recordings. New songs are sung in that voice, in whatever style you describe. - →Who can use it. Only you. The voice is tied to your account, never shown publicly, and you can delete it at any time. ## AI singing voice FAQ ### Why do I have to record in the browser instead of uploading a file? So the voice is yours. You sing live, then sing back a line we show you, and the two recordings are checked against each other before the voice is created. That's how we keep people from making voices of other singers. ### How much singing do I need to record? Between 15 seconds and a minute. Sing a song you know by heart — Happy Birthday, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star or anything you like — close to the mic, with no music or backing track playing, in your normal singing voice rather than speaking. The short line in the next step can be read out loud. ### Can I make a voice of someone else? No. Only your own voice, recorded live. Using the generator to imitate another person is against our Acceptable Use Policy and gets accounts suspended. ### What songs can I use? Songs you wrote, recorded, or have the rights to use. Uploads that match an existing copyrighted recording are rejected. For anything you publish, you need the rights to the original song. ### Can I write new songs in my voice? Yes. Once your voice is ready, open the song generator, switch to Custom, write or paste your lyrics and pick your voice under Voice. You can find and manage all your voices in My Music → My voices. ### Is the AI singing voice generator free? No — singing in your own voice is part of the Pro plan (from $7.99 a month). Creating your voice costs 10 credits and each song with it costs 5, the same as any song. If creating the voice or a song fails, the credits go back automatically. On the free plan you can still make songs with our AI singers. ### Can I make an AI song with my voice from text? Yes. Write the lyrics (or get a draft from the free lyrics generator), open the song generator, switch to Custom, paste them and pick your voice under Voice. The AI writes the melody and arrangement and sings your words in your voice. ### Can I cover a famous song in my own voice? No. Uploads that match an existing copyrighted recording are rejected by the voice model, and publishing a cover needs the rights to the original anyway. You can re-sing songs you made here, songs you recorded yourself, or tracks you have the rights to — or write new lyrics in the style of a song you love. ### What powers it? A third-party AI voice model that learns your voice from a short singing sample and a read-back line, then sings new songs in it. The voice is tied to your account and can't be used by anyone else. ### Can I delete my voice? Yes, any time — delete it from the list on this page. Deleting your account removes your voices and recordings. ## Hear a song in your own voice Sing for half a minute above, create your voice once, and use it on as many songs as you like.
